The planning committee examine planning applications submitted to Stirling Council, and comment or object as and when they think appropriate. They hold regular meetings with the Chief Planning Officer to discuss issues which are likely to come to the fore. They will at the appropriate time submit their comments on the draft Local Plan.
We publish a regular monthly column in the Stirling Observer on a topic related to the Trust’s concerns.
We organise a limited number of talks and visits to buildings or developments of interest. All of these are free to members
Probably the most vital role that members of the Trust can play is to alert a member of the Executive Committee to possible adverse developments they become aware of.
